TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should be part of your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
